Citizen Science Dark Sky Measurements

The new moon is the best time to stargaze. It’s also the best time to take star measurements and enjoy the wonderful Milky Way.
Join as a citizen scientist, where you help ongoing light pollution research and Headwaters Alliance’s ongoing application to become a Dark Sky Reserve through the International Dark Sky Association.
To help, download the “Loss of the Night” app on your phone (iPhone or Android). Follow the directions to determine the relative sky quality wherever you are.
